Book launch and talks 

The first launch for my new book, ‘A Wounded Landscape - bearing witness to the Holocaust’ is now confirmed for Thursday 21st of October in London, at The Photobook Cafe in Shoreditch, from 6-9pm.

If you are in the area it would be wonderful if you could make it.

You will need to register with this link but the event is free of course.

I will also be showing the book at BOP21 in Bristol from October 22nd - 24th (Photobook Bristol) and I am also in a number of discussions about presenting the book and doing talks at other venues over the next few months so will keep you updated on that.

The first of these public talks will be on November 16th at 6.30pm for The Second Generation Network. I will be in conversation with Ben Barkow, former Director of the Wiener Holocaust Library and this talk will be online. You can register for it at this link.

Production update

Yesterday I received the second cover proof from the binders of the new book. It is looking really good and is now all approved so the final stage of the book’s production can get underway as the 1500 covers are produced and the sewn sections bound into it.

This should mean by the end of next week the books will be completed and ready to be delivered to me from the printers....I say should as delays can happen of course, especially in photobook printing.

Then the small matter of sending out these first 600 pre-orders to over 20 countries can begin...I do all that fulfillment myself, writing postcards, signing books and prints, wrapping, printing labels and getting them all to the delivery companies.

I am working on press for the book also and there was an excellent feature in National Geographic over the weekend which you might find an interesting read and there will be more features over the coming weeks.
