Working on my long term project, part of 6 years travelling across Europe and beyond, this was the train journey that changed my life.
5 hours on board, travelling through the early morning darkness through the winter landscape to reach our destination.
Hot tea served in podstakannik and snacks made for the journey.”
These images are made in Ukraine during my time there between 2018 and 2021. They are part of a work in progress I am making in the country with my wife.
The prints are made at my lab using beautiful Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm Giclee archival photographic paper.
